My Daily Driver's commitment to peace of mind
At My Daily Driver, discretion and security are at the heart of what we do. This applies to your journey, but also to your personal data. This policy transparently describes the data we process, the reasons for processing it, and your rights.
1. Your trust, our responsibility

2. Why do we need your data? (Purposes)
We only collect data that is strictly necessary for:
- Provide your transportation service: confirm your reservation, organize your trip, and ensure operational follow-up.
- Inform you: confirmations, practical information, driver contact details, invoices.
- Adapt the service when children are present: provision of equipment (baby seat, booster seat).
- Manage administrative and accounting tasks: quotes, invoicing, legal obligations.
- Improve the website and quality of service: statistics and audience measurement (depending on your choice of cookies).
- Carry out communication/marketing activities: only with your consent (targeted advertising, remarketing).
3. On what basis do we process your data? (Legal basis)
Processing is carried out on the following bases (Article 6 GDPR):
- Article 6.1.b: performance of the contract (reservation, transport, service-related communications).
- Article 6.1.c: legal obligations (billing, accounting).
- Article 6.1.a: consent (non-essential cookies, marketing, certain processing related to children when not strictly necessary).
- Article 6.1.f: legitimate interest (security, logistical organization, incident prevention, quality of service).
4. What we know about you (and what we do not store)
What we process
- Identity: Last name, first name, phone number, email address
- Journeys: Addresses, schedules, flight/train numbers, options
- Payment: Transaction reference and proof (via Stripe)
- Children: Age or age range (for equipment)
- Website: Browsing data (cookies) according to consent
What we never store
- Identity: Photos, data from social networks
- Journeys: Travel outside of services
- Payment: Credit card numbers
- Children: Children's names
- Website: Sensitive content not required
5. Who has access to your information?
Your data is neither sold nor exchanged. It is only shared with necessary recipients:
- My Daily Driver team (booking, operations, accounting)
- Assigned driver: only information essential to the assignment
Service providers (subcontractors) who may process data on our behalf:
- Stripe (secure payment)
- Mailjet (emails)
- Octopush/Twilio (SMS and WhatsApp, depending on the channels used)
- Webfleet (driver geolocation, where applicable)
- CookieYes (cookie consent management)
- Audience measurement tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) depending on consent
6. Advertising and conversion tracking (Google Ads / reporting tools)
If you consent, My Daily Driver may measure the effectiveness of its advertising campaigns:
- Advanced Google Ads conversion tracking: when a form is submitted, certain data (email and/or phone number) may be sent to Google Ads after hashing (SHA-256) in order to attribute a conversion to a campaign.
- Audiences/customer lists: monthly import of customer/prospect data (last name, first name, email address, phone number, country) for the creation of advertising audiences, according to the applicable settings and choices.
- Looker Studio: can be used as a visualization/reporting tool based on aggregated data from marketing and analytics tools.
7. Cookies and trackers
The site uses cookies:
- Necessary for the functioning of the site,
- Functional,
- Analytical (audience measurement),
- Advertising/marketing (targeted advertising, conversion, remarketing).
Non-essential cookies are only stored after you have given your consent via our CookieYes management tool. You can change your preferences at any time.
Maximum cookie retention period: 13 months.
8. Transfers outside the European Union
Some service providers may process data outside the European Union (particularly in the United States). In this case, transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards, including:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC), and/or
- certification of the service provider to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) where applicable.

9. Your rights: you remain in control
In accordance with Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- access, rectification
- erasure
- restriction

- portability
- withdrawal of consent (when processing is based on consent)

10. How to exercise your rights
You can exercise your rights by writing to: rgpd@mydailydriver.fr.
My Daily Driver will respond within one month, which may be extended under the conditions provided for by the GDPR.
11. Retention period: the right time rule
- Reservation/assignment data: 3 years after the last service
- Accounting documents: 10 years (legal obligation)
- Data relating to children: 1 year maximum
- Driver geolocation data: 30 days maximum
- Cookies: maximum 13 months
12. Security and confidentiality
My Daily Driver implements appropriate security measures, including:
- restricted access to authorized persons
- rights management and logging
- enhanced authentication
- contractual supervision of service providers
- hosting and services favoring France or the European Union whenever possible
Every member of the My Daily Driver team and every partner driver is bound by a confidentiality obligation.
13. Automated decision-making
My Daily Driver does not implement any automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or significant effects within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.
